i have to file a suit against my landlord who refuses to give my deposits back i only lived in the building 3 months on a month to month basis how do i do this and where do i file i sent him a registered lettered and he refused it

Unless your deposit was more than $10,000, you would file in Small Claims Court in the county where the property is located. You can also file in the county where the landlord lives if that is more convenient.
