Is aesthetic value a positive thing?
Aesthetic value refers to how appealing something is. It may not perform a task or generate income, or result in any other benefit, but it's appealing (usually physically appealing). So aesthetics aren't a bad thing, but they are usually considered a minor positive point. Of course in industries like fashion, it's all about aesthetics.
