Question

How is the sentencing system in the state of Florida not double jepardy?

Answer

Not sure what context you are talking about and you would probably have to give more specifics (preferably to an attorney in person to maintain atty-client privilege), but a person is sentenced for the crime they commit. They can't be sentenced again for that EXACT same crime, but could be sentenced separately for related crimes. Further, if found innocent, charges can NOT be brought again even if new evidence finds them guilty. So I don't know what you mean, but Florida is like all other 50 states when it comes to sentencing for the exact same crime.
