I am a resident of Louisiana. I was stopped for speeding and found out then my license was suspended. I was given a ticket for speeding & suspended license. The officer towed the rental car that I was driving. I told the officer that the rental is covered under my personal insurance which covers all licensed drivers. Did he still have the right to tow my rental?

While it might not have been nice, he had the right.
