When does a new fireman get to first go in the fire truck?
Firefighters, both employed by cities and towns or volunteers, help with a variety of situations, including car accidents, natural disasters, medical emergencies, and, of course, fires. When a newly hired fire-person participates in these calls is up to the fire chief and may vary from city to city.
