is it possible to purchase a business without disclosing your identity?

Question

is it possible to purchase a business without disclosing your identity?

Answer

Hello. If you incorporate and the corporation purchases the business, your identity probably will not have to be disclosed, unless the business is sued at a later date. If that were to occur, then your identity might be required should the party suing decide to subpoena business records which might include your name. This answer is a general response to your posting and is no substitute for speaking face to face with an attorney.
