Question

Florida case: I received a DUI, pled to reckless driving, received a deferred prosecution. Charges were dismissed. I am in the process of an expungement. I am applying for a job and one of the questions asked if I have ever been convicted of, plead guilty, no contest, been on parole, or on probation for any misdemeanor. How should I answer this prior to the expungement ?

Answer

Since you were not convicted and not put on formal probation, then you can answer no. HOWEVER, it will probably still appear on your record so you need to either explain it after you've said no, or say yes and then explain what happened.
