Question

Is a bankruptcy retainer agreement void if the name in the agreement is a different client of the law firm than the client who signed the agreement?

Answer

There is no contract if the parties to it did not sign it. If the client signed a contract which listed a different client in the preamble, then there is no contract. It is not that the contract is void.

Answer

Retainer Agreements It's arguable. A patent ambiguity does not necessarily void the contract where there was an intent to contract.
