Question

My daughter turned 18 in March and is still in high school (grade 12). She spends one week with me, one with her mother. Has she reached majority under Florida Law yet or does she when she completes the school year?

Answer

For child support purposes she emancipates at the earliest of (1) graduation from High School, or (2) Age 19.
