I gave a security deposit for an apartment in Los Angeles. When I read the lease it provides for an $150.00 late fee if I am 1 day late and now the rental agent tells me that the agreement does not include any refrigerator or dishwasher repairs. I haven't yet signed the lease, but I really need an apartment. Any advice?

Don't sign it if you don't agree to it. If you sign it, you agree to it and will be bound by the lease agreement.
