Question

A family member was charged, years ago, with something they didnt do, it was later proven and the real person was charged. A person wrote a book and included my family members name as being the perpertrator, published by Lantern books. We feel the person should have known and would like to sue for Libel. Can we sue? If so, seeking counsel to take on contingency bases.

Answer

The context within which your family was named is extemely important as well as your collective reputation independent of this one incident. This is a gray area, however, you may contact me to discuss further if you wish.
