Question

I bought a 2006 pontiac G6 from a car lot that has in house financing a week ago . I asked if this vehicle had a clean clear title and was told yes. To this day they haven't got the title but say its clear. I had a issue with the steering they offered to fix but I found out it may have a recall so contacting a GM dealer to find out I was informed the vin for that vehicle has a branded title , I called the car lot and questioned them and they would allow me to return the vehicle but as far as my down payment I was SOL. Is there a Florida law protecting me. I just want my money back cause I would have never bought the car if I knew a week ago what I do now.

Answer

The devil is in the details. You or a consumer lawyer needs to look at the paper work you signed to determine what course of action you can take. See www.ConsumerLawyerHelp.com for a NACA lawyer in your area.
