I was in a michaels trying to return a purchase. The manager was no help. I asked for his manager. He told me he was the only manager. I asked for his district managers number he refused to give it to me. I understood, and asked for his last name so I could make a complaint. He refused to give it to me. I then asked for the store number which he gave to me and I wrote down In my phone. Then went to take a picture of his badge. At this point he lunged and grabbed my arm and phone. Trying to not let go our arms twisted injuring my wrist. My phone which is a 800 iPhone was dropped and broke. He then said to call the police. At this point I left calling customer service. It is now 2 hours later and my wrist is in extreme pain. I was told a district manager would get back to me in the next 72 hours. I apologize for the horrendous grammar, I wrote this rather quickly. My question is do I have a case, and what should I do from here on. I cannot afford to go to the hospital.
Answer
This is not a criminal law question. It should be asked on a personal injury or civil litigation page but I would go to the hospital if I were you. tell them that you want to sue the store and ask them to treat you and hold back on the fee until you have some money
