My wife & I were married in India thereafter my wife inherited the property of her parent in New Jersey. Now does that property also belong to the husband or not?

Where do you live now? If NJ, NJ law does not give a husband an interest in wife's inhereited property as long as she maintains the same separate from marital assets. I do not know the laws in India as to property inherited in another country.
