What did kings do for entertainment?
Kings sometimes had people called jesters who they would call in for them to entertain them. It's hard to say how often this really occurred as it is quite exaggerated in movies and shows, etc. but they did exist.
Kings also had lavish palaces, so they entertained a lot and would have guests over to eat a delicious meal, drink, and visit.
