Question

I have software development business in India. Now i want to start new company in U.S.A. , New York as well. Can i start company at there as i am Indian and i do not have anything related to U.S.A.

Answer

The good news is that any person can form a company in the U.S. regardless of any affiliation with the U.S!

Though be mindful that the company will have to file taxes in the U.S. and that if you are interested in a U.S. bank account you will need to obtain a TIN number and likely come to the U.S. to open it or employ a U.S. individual who could open the bank account on your behalf. Also, generally speaking, being a shareholder of a U.S. company does not give you any immigration status and you will need a visa if you plan to visit.

I can help you determine the most suitable type of company and the appropriate U.S. state to form it in as well as assist you in navigate the regulatory and banking issues.
