Question

I received a ticket in the mail that does not belong to me. It was for not carrying a valid license. Someone used my name and address. I wrote to the court and asked for a copy of the actual ticket. The vehicle belongs to my ex- boyfriend new girlfriend. She is the one that used my name and signed the ticket with my name. It is not even my signature and I send all the proof to the court along with the address where she lives. Now the court send me the same ticket again asking me to pay $405 again. What can I do to get this out of my name and off my record?

Answer

If there is a court date set, go to court and explain the situation to the judge.
