I got a paper saying i qualified for an adult diversion program, and the diversion conference is scheduled for before my court date, do i need an attorney? and what is the conference for?

I urge you to confer privately with an experienced attorney prior to making such decisions, prior to the diversion conference (whatever that is.... orientation?)
